action | June 11 morning
[ Rapunzel was wandering around the camp, having finally found the area with the lodgings after being dropped off by the Airport Shuttle. She was late, of course, but the tiny, local Pennsylvania airport only made flights out this way twice a week, and Rapunzel got horribly lost while on a layover in Houston and missed that flight, so it was really just a mess. But she was finally here!
She made a little yelp and stopped when her hair got caught on a particularly large stick. ]
I need one of those elastic hair things. Wish I'd thought of that before I came.
[ She chewed her bottom lip. That would have to be fixed later, right now she needed to set her bags down and get Pascal settled. He was not enjoying all of the moving around. Her nose was nearly touching her map of the camp she'd been mailed. It was positioned awkwardly on the aquarium, since Pascal took two hands to carry. ]
Pascal, you are so heavy! Gosh, there should be a picture of a turtle or something, all these cabins look the same... Where is mine?

Bran had been outside throwing sticks for Summer when Rapunzel's kind of ridiculous hair catches his (and Summer's) attention. The wolf trots over to her hair and sniffs at the back of it, curiously, and Bran rolls behind him, calling out:]
Summer, come back--um, are you lost...? [He's kind of totally staring--it takes him a moment to remember his mother's old lessons and he blinks, looking back at her face.]
no subject
Oh! Oh, oh my gosh, it's yours! [ Quick, shallow breaths. Lots of them. ] I'm so sorry, it's just-- he's so big! I've never seen one before!
[ She make a few cautious steps toward Summer and Bran, not even noticing Bran's staring. She was too preoccupied making sure the wolf didn't make any sudden movements. ]
I'm, um, a little lost... I just got here this morning. Trying to find my cabin.

It's okay, he's nice. He would never hurt you. [Well, he's kind of new too, but...] Where's your cabin...?
the girl freaked over a bunny ok |D
I'm in... Invulnerable Turtles? I don't have any idea which one it is, but I think these are the other cabins? I tried to follow the wooden arrows and use my-- my map! Oh, no, where did it go? The wind must've carried it off!
LMAO TRUE
Invulnerable... [Okay, let's see. That's one of the girl's cabins, isn't it... Crap, he has no idea. But he at least knows where--oh, her map.
A gallant man would probably go fetch it for her. Bran's kind of indisposed to that, and he clicks his tongue softly at Summer, who jumps to his feet, looks at Bran, and suddenly takes off. When he speaks up again, it's a little shyly.]
Um...I know where the actual cabins are, if you want to try and find it...

...That's...a lot of hair.

My mother always said it was too pretty to cut, so I grew it out! I like it, but it can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes.
no subject
[Well, as long as she wasn't offended by it or anything he guessed that was okay. He started floating, shoving his hands in his pockets.]
Which cabin are you looking for?
no subject
The Invincible-- no, sorry, Invulnerable Turtles cabin! Do I really look that lost?
[ She smiled sheepishly, readjusting the tank in her arms again. ]

[Randall, you certainly had a bad habit of appearing without any warning, which is precisely what happened with him standing near Rapunzel now, looking curiously at her luggage.]
Do you need some help with all that? I don't think I've seen you here before...
no subject
[ She had her large duffel bag around her right shoulder and still held her chameleon's tank with her arms. ]
I just need to find my cabin! I just got here this morning, I feel so bad for being so late...
no subject
My name is Randall Ascot. I'm one of the Junior Counsellors here, so please-- allow me to assist you. I can take some of that load off for you, if you like.

[ She still couldn't help but beam at his gallantry, despite her protests. The people here were so nice already! ]
I mean, well, you can take Pascal, I guess! He's kind of heavy though... well, his terrarium is. He's not at all! But- [ She realized she was rambling. Oops. ] But it's really okay! I can't be much farther, I think! I'm just trying to find the Turtles cabin...?

She waves Rapunzel down, one of her bulky gloves flapping off as she does - and as soon as it comes off, she runs over to pick it up, jamming it back on her hand.]
This is the cabin for Invulnerable Turtles, if you're looking for it!

[ She grinned and walked quickly as she could with her heavy bag over to the girl. ]
Are you my roommate? [ She was so excited, it's really hard to put into words. ]

[Fiametta runs over to the cabin and holds the door open for her, seeing as Rapunzel's got a lot of stuff.]
Yes! I'm the only one for right now, but hopefully some others will come in soon. People always trickle in late at camp...like I did this year.
[Ooh, that still makes her mad. Her cheeks turn red and she looks to the side - not now, Fi. Don't make a bad impression.]
I'm Fiametta.
no subject
[ She is completely too excited to notice Fiametta was perturbed as she shuffled up the little steps into the cabin. ]
I guess I'll take this bed over here by the window. Do you mind if I put Pascal here on my nightstand? Oh, right, this is Pascal! He's a chameleon. [ She put the duffle bag down on the bed and excitedly pointed to the terrarium to introduce her pet. ]

Iiiii detect a late arrival! Hooray! Hi, I'm Tsuruya, a junior counselor for Levitation! Needs help?
no subject
I'm sorry I'm late! I just got a late flight and then missed it too-- Oh, right, I'm Rapunzel! Nice to meet you Ts- Tsuruya! [ She tripped a little on the name, trying to pronounce it correctly through her nerves. ]
I just can't find my cabin, I guess you might though! I'm in the- the Something Turtles.

*She leads the way chipperly.*

[Of course, having been here four years thus far, Jake knew a new face when he saw one. Oh, she certainly looked lost. He grinning and jogged his way over in all his six foot glory.]
Salutations, madam! You looked mighty boondoggled, there. Can I help you find something?
"boondoggled" omfg. jake bby.
Hello! I am a little, um, boondoggled. [ She thinks she's boondoggled? Does that mean lost? ] I'm trying to find the girls cabins and got turned around somewhere, I think. Am I anywhere close?
no subject
You're a little off course! Would you like me to show you the way?
no subject
[ She glanced at her useless map. Well, more like just useless in that she was apparently horrible at reading it. ]
